Serenity Beauty Bar has a few studio policies that we apply to all of our clients. These policies have been put in place for the safety and well being of our clients and the integrity of our services. We kindly ask that you review our policies and abide by them. SATISFACTION GUARANTEE

At Serenity Beauty Bar we guarantee that you are going to love our work! If you are not happy with your new look, experience a reaction, have extreme fall out, or simply want a small adjustment, please let us know within the first 48 hours and we will adjust it to your satisfaction at no extra charge during our earliest available time slot.

CONSULTATIONS

We offer our clients the opportunity to schedule a complimentary consultation for our eyelash, eyebrow and makeup services. During this consultation you will have dedicated one on one time with one of our artists to discuss any questions or concerns you may have. They will also be able to assess and guide you as to what service is best suited for your needs and lifestyle.

NEW CLIENTS WITH EXISTING LASHES

For all new clients with existing eyelash extensions wishing to have them refilled with us, you must first schedule a complimentary lash consultation and then the desired refill. We do not feel comfortable refilling on other lash artist’s work due to liability purposes and the techniques, experience, as well as products used are unknown. However, we are happy to take a look at your current set but we cannot guarantee we will be able to complete the refill. If we cannot we always recommend a removal and new set be applied.

REFILLS

We ask that when scheduling any eyelash extension refill, that you have at least 30% of your lash set left. If you have less than 30% left on the day of your appointment you will need to have a new set applied. If we are unable to accommodate a new set the same day as your refill appointment, we will schedule you in for a new set during our earliest available time slot.

ALLERGIC REACTIONS

Allergic reactions are very rare, but can happen. If you experience an allergic reaction to any of the products used during a service, please contact us immediately for assistance with assessing the situation. If you’ve never had extensions before or have had reactions in the past, we always recommend scheduling a patch test. If you do react from a patch test, the reaction will be minor and will subside in a day or two. The bad news is that eyelash extensions are not right for you, if this is the case we always recommend a lash lift and tint which will greatly transform your natural lashes.

Please note that if you do experience an allergic reaction, refunds will not be processed for the service provided. However, we would be happy to remove the eyelash extensions free of charge at your earliest convenience.

WALK-INS

Walk-in appointments are more than welcome at Serenity Beauty Bar. Please keep in mind that we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate an appointment on the spot. We do prefer you schedule an appointment ahead of time to avoid any disappointments and to ensure we can dedicate the appropriate time to you.

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

We understand that sometimes things come up and schedules need to change. We will be happy to reschedule or cancel any appointment, however, we do require a 24 hour notice.

Please note that for appointment cancellations within the 24 hour period will be subject to a 50% service fee charged to your credit card.

ARRIVING LATE FOR APPOINTMENTS

Please notify us if you are running late for your appointment. We allow a 15 minute grace period for late arrivals, however, if you arrive later than 15 minutes we cannot guarantee we can accommodate the service scheduled. Late arrivals will result in your service being customized to fit the remaining appointment time and the full rate of the appointment will still be applied. If you are significantly late for your appointment and we cannot accommodate the service scheduled our cancellation fee will be applied (at our discretion).

NO SHOWS

Please be courteous and notify us if you cannot make your appointment. Unfortunately, all no shows will automatically result in the full service fee being charged to your credit card.

DEPOSITS

A deposit payment is not required in order to secure your appointment spot. However, we do require your credit card number at time of booking, either online or over the phone. Your credit card is held on file and is never charged unless you cancel your appointment within the 24 hour period or are a no show.

REFUNDS

There are no refunds on services or gift certificates. Refunds, exchanges or store credit is available solely on the purchase of products. Products must be returned within 14 days of the original purchase date, with a valid receipt. Items must be in sealed and sellable condition: unopened, unused and in the undamaged original packaging. If the product is unsealed or unsellable in any way, we cannot process a refund.

PRODUCT RESALE

The products we sell in our studio are for personal use only. Reselling of our products is prohibited and will result in a ban on any future product purchases.

AGE RESTRICTIONS

At Serenity Beauty Bar we love providing services for all ages. We have waiver forms that must be filled out for all first time clients. Therefore, if you are under the age of 18 you must have a parent or guardian with you at the time of your appointment. These waiver forms are a legal and binding contract and those under the age of 18 are unable to sign their consent. We will not accept parental or guardian permission over the phone, they must be present to sign the forms. If they cannot be present at the time of the appointment you will need to reschedule your service for another date or time.

CHILDREN

Our team at Serenity loves children, however, the studio environment is not an appropriate setting for them. The studio can have times of high traffic and our team is not able to accommodate children the proper supervision required. However, if you have no other way of attending your appointment without bringing your child with you, we ask that you call to notify us prior to your appointment time. This will allow us the appropriate time to ensure your child will be properly taken care of during your service.

PETS

Due to hygienic reasons and possible allergies among other clients, we do not permit animals in our studio. Exceptions are made for service animals, however, we ask that you notify us 72 hours before your appointment time to ensure that other clients who suffer from animal allergies will not be present.
